Texas Greenhouse Posted on 5 Aug 05:00 , 0 comments

Cacti and succulents abound in this traditional greenhouse in suburban Fort Worth. Built roughly ten years ago, it is a great example of the durability of TUFTEX PolyCarbonate panels, even in the unforgiving Texas sun. The builder chose TUFTEX because “the panels are lightweight, flexible and easy to cut to size.” He adds, “this is one of the best projects I’ve ever done. I love my greenhouse!” Interested in building your own? Visit us at TUFTEXPanel.com

Screened in porch possible with Tuftex DeckDrain Posted on 10 Jun 05:00 , 0 comments

One of our industrious customers created a screened-in porch under a second-floor deck and finished the new room with TUFTEX DeckDrain on the ceiling. Designed to keep the area under a deck dry and looking great, the DeckDrain drainage system catches and diverts water away, and is easy to attach below existing decks. We think it’s pretty cool to create a new room within existing space, don’t you? Check out the before-and-after transformation!

Backyard Building Posted on 22 Apr 05:00 , 0 comments

Deek Diedricksen is known for dreaming up spectacular treehouses, cabins, tiny houses, and backyard offices, A-frames, and shacks, many of which incorporate TUFTEX. Why? “I favor the ‘sparse-modern’ look, but not the price tag,” Deek explains. “With its corrugated and repeating ridge lines, TUFTEX delivers the aesthetic I want, at a budget I can afford. The stuff is also lightweight, and durable as heck!” We couldn't have said it better ourselves.

Father & Son Build a Greenhouse Posted on 11 Mar 05:00 , 0 comments

What’s better than building a greenhouse with TUFTEX? Building a greenhouse with your son! Our friend Brian in Powell, Wyoming, shared pictures of the greenhouse he built with his son, James. According to Brian, the duo chose TUFTEX PolyCarbonate Clear panels “because I had a sample of it and I could not destroy it; it’s pretty tough stuff. I heard from our lumber yard TUFTEX is the best stuff for a green house. It was easy to work with, even when it was below freezing, plus we were burying it in the ground and it will not rot like other materials.”
